This list is dedicated to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints who struggle with addiction to tobacco. The use of tobacco (smoking, chewing, etc.) is prohibited according to the tenents of the LDS faith. The shame felt by users of tobacco in the church can create substantial barriers to members wishing to obtain good information on how to quit. This list will provide a safe haven for discussion of these important issues within an LDS framework.

Anti-mormon sentiments are not appropriate nor welcome on this list although church membership is not necessarily required. Abusive posts will not be tolerated. Anyone violating these rules will be removed from the list, perhaps without warning if the violation is blatant enough. Anonymous posting is permitted. Instructions for methods of anonymous posting are given at anonymous.htm. Only members of the list may post. There is no archive. List archival services may NOT subscribe.
